The Accuplacer testing that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, has been moved to Thursday, March 19th. Junior students will leave after first period for testing and a tour at Black Hawk College East Campus and then will go to lunch at Burger King in Kewanee. Students need to bring money for lunch.

A reminder that Jr. High track is starting practice tomorrow (3/18) from 3:15-4:30! Athletes please make sure you have water and athletic clothing. You should change after school before heading out to practice. We will meet by the football concession stand shed. There will be a parent meeting following practice! Plan to come to the elementary parking lot and we will determine our location from there. This weekend!!!! The Galva Drama Club will perform the musical The Lightning Thief at Galva Jr/Sr High School on March 20th & 21st. Based on Rick Riordan's best selling series, The Lightning Thief Musical tells the story of Percy Jackson. As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus's master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods.

The Lightning Thief is an exciting and rollicking dramatic-comedy appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $10 and available at the door. Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 7:30.
