Wildcats Volleyball at Knoxville

The high school cross country team had a great time competing at Furrow Farm in El Paso today! This is a true and challenging cross country course, nicknamed The Beast, with 4 muddy creek crossings and many large hills! Charlotte Farmer lost both of her shoes in the first creek crossing and finished the race in socks! We won't talk about her time, but when you run two and a half miles in socks and keep a good pace until the last mile, who needs a good time. Let's talk about her perseverance!! The boys ran well and finished covered in mud! I'm not sure the picture shows how filthy they were. Bryant Jeffrey was prepared with his swim goggles and finished in 22:42! Randal Engels finished in 23:13! John Clemons conquered the beast and ran one of his best times this season, finishing in 26:40! Great job, team!!

Thank you to Mrs. Mersman for snapping our Student of the Month photos! She created the border and had them printed so that we can proudly honor our student accomplishments in our hallways at school. At the end of the month, students will be able to keep their photos forever!
