🏆 SEPTEMBER ATHLETES OF THE MONTH 🏆

Galva Athletics is proud to recognize Izzy Wigant and Eli West as our September Athletes of the Month!

💙💛 September’s Character Trait: COMMITMENT 💛💙

Commitment is more than showing up on game day. It means being dependable, putting in consistent effort, working to improve, supporting your teammates, and staying dedicated to your sport and school each and every day.

🏐 Izzy Wigant – Volleyball Senior
⛳ Eli West – Golf

Izzy and Eli have both demonstrated what commitment looks like throughout their seasons. Their dedication to their respective sports, their teammates, and Galva Athletics makes them outstanding representatives of what it means to be a Wildcat.

Just as importantly, our high school student-athletes have the opportunity to be role models for the younger Wildcats who are watching and looking up to them. The way Izzy and Eli work, compete, support their teammates, and represent Galva shows our younger athletes what it means to be committed to something bigger than yourself. The example they set today helps shape the Wildcats of tomorrow.

Athlete of the Month is about recognizing more than wins, scores, and statistics. It celebrates the student-athletes who demonstrate the character and values we want representing Galva Athletics both in competition and throughout our school community.
Congratulations, Izzy and Eli, on this well-deserved recognition! Thank you for your hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to your teams and Galva Athletics!

💙💛 It’s a great day to be a Wildcat! 💛💙

Show these photos to your kids and tell them about life in the 1900s. Then head over to https://galvaalumni.org/submit-career/ and upload your alumni information! They will never believe you when you tell them about the tornado slide at Wiley Park. #onceawildcatalwaysawildcat

Mrs. Wigant's 1st graders took a journey to our neighbors down the street at the Villas. With the help of the Galva Rotary and the HS Interact Club, students were able to participate in a craft with residents. Today's project was bookmarks! We love the opportunity to visit with our friends at the Villas each and every time!
