JRH Choir members are performed yesterday at the ACDA JRH Choir Festival at Bradley University! So proud of all these students and their hard work!

Today (Saturday, 9/27/25), both our High School and Jr. High FFA members volunteered alongside the Bishop Hill Historical Society in Bishop Hill.
Our students helped bring agricultural history to life by:
• Operating the apple cider press
• Making corn husk dolls
• Forming and baking bricks
• Pressing sorghum
Demonstrating past farming practices, engaging visitors and helping share how agriculture shaped our local heritage.
We had great volunteers today and we are excited for Day 2!

Get ready for a spooky-fun evening with the Galva FFA! 👻🌙 Join us on Tuesday, October 21st from 6:30–7:30 PM at the Galva High School StoryWalk Trail (North Parking Lot) for a special Flashlight Story Walk featuring the children’s book Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds. Families will follow the trail by flashlight, reading page by page while keeping an eye out for those mischievous carrots! The first 60 kids will receive a FREE flashlight to use and take home, and parents are encouraged to bring one too so everyone can join the fun.
This is a FREE event and perfect for kids of all ages—don’t miss it!

Mrs. Conner invited her Leos Club Students to work the Abilities Plus Luncheon hosted by the Galva Lions Club at Wiley Park on Thursday and did a remarkable job!
Makinzie Dailey, Samantha Fox, Ellory Glaser, Madelyn McCurdy, Kaylee Sargeant, and Arleigh Wagner all attended.

They also were able to try out a sprayer simulator that was brought to the presentation by FS. This was a great representation of how difficult it can be for those big pieces of machinery to move over in various situation and around different obstacles.
It was an excellent presentation and representation of what these new drivers should be looking for and how to handle different situations as we enter this years harvest season.
Be careful out there and share the road!
