The 5-12 grade band and choir concert is still on for tonight, but will be pushed back 10-15 minutes while we wait for the weather to pass! 🌦️⛈️

Thank you to all who came out to the Elementary Music Concert this morning! It was a beautiful day and concert!

The band and choir will be selling popsicles and bottled water tonight at the park during the concert, in case anyone needs something cool!😎

This afternoon, directly before dismissal, we will send off our IESA Track and Field State Qualifiers! Our Wildcats will head down to East Peoria to compete on Friday and Saturday. Good luck!

Tonight is the Galva Jr/Sr High School Band and Choir Concert at Wiley Park! The concert begins at 6:00pm. Stay cool!

This morning is our Elementary Spring Concert! Our office will be closed during the concert performance. We will return calls as soon as we are available after the concert. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Feel free to email Mrs. Clark at oclark@galva224.org

On Wednesday, Black Hawk College professor, Ms. Katie Rushing-Anderson, and Circle K President, Logan, gave Mrs. Price's 8th grade class a demonstration on chemical reactions! Students learned about the importance of combustion!
Thank you, Ms. Anderson and Logan for the opportunity!

REMINDER: Kindergarten Night 2025 is TONIGHT! We look forward to meeting our future Kindergarteners!
Here are a few reminders about the evening:
Enter through the Gymnasium doors at the far WEST side of the building on Morgan Rd.
Doors will open at 5:20 PM
Kindergarten Night will start at 5:30
You and your child will be taking a building tour with one of our K-Kids leaders
At the conclusion of the tour, you will have two opportunities to take part in:
1. Kindergarten "Signing Day" Photo. Students will be able to sign their own Kindergarten Commitment Letter and pose for a photo opportunity at the signing table. You can also do this as you arrive prior to the tour starting.
2. Cafeteria stop and snack. Students and parents are invited to stop in the cafeteria before they leave and grab a tray, snack, and milk. This will allow our future kindergarteners to have some experience with how the cafeteria works
For students who DO NOT have children currently enrolled in Galva PreK, we ask that your child stick around, briefly, for a quick screening with our Kindergarten Team. They will meet you in the cafeteria.
We look forward to meeting our future kindergarteners and their families!

In conjunction with Henry-Stark Special Education, we are hiring for 2025-2026!

Senior Sunset for the Class of 2025. Thank you for the wonderful memories, and we look forward to seeing each of you embark on fantastic futures. Sincerely, Your Class Sponsors, Mrs. Rodseth & Mrs. McMeekan
