Congratulations 1st Grade! You are the winner's of last week's attendance challenge with a 95% combined attendance rate! Mrs. Lucas and Mrs. Wigant's classes have earned an extra 30 minute recess this week! #AttendanceMatters
Ms. Brynn surprised the second grade with a round of Olympic skeleton races in the gym this week. They started out with a parade of athletes and the reciting of an Olympic Oath. The students were able to race on their stomach on scooters much like the athletes do on their sleds in the Olympics. She was excited to award the Gold and Silver medals to Team Canada and the Bronze medal to Team Italy. They are excited to see what game she will have for them next week!

The work that these kids put in continues to amaze! This group of Jr High FFA members competed at the Illinois Valley Community College Middle School Mania. We came out with 1st place in the team challenge and 2nd place team over all. We also had the top individual, Grace Conrad. Congratulations to this amazing group!

Ballots will be emailed to all students in grades 9–12 on Monday.

Scholastic bowl played A-Town and Princeville tonight. Our JV team is working hard, scoring in the triple digits tonight, but they still fell short in both their matches.
Varsity split their matches, victorious over Princeville, but falling to A-town.
One more week of the regular season!
It is 8th Grade Night for our Junior High Volleyball team. The 7th Grade match begins at 5:30pm vs Alwood.
1st grade had a wonderful field trip. We got to see Dinosaur World Live at The Orpheum Theatre! We also ate lunch outside, watched a movie and had popcorn, and enjoyed the beautiful weather! 🦖🍿☀️

This is Coach Conner of the Wildcat Trap Shooting Team. We are having an informational meeting for the Spring 2026 season on Thursday, February 19th @ 7 pm in the Distance Learning Room that is next to the library. Any student in junior high or high school is eligible to be on the team. Participants and prospective participants will receive a schedule that night for the season. For those who have not completed a hunter safety course, there is one being held in Wyoming, Illinois on March 14th and 15th. You can sign up at the meeting. Coach Joe, Coach Rob and Coach Jeff look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
