The work has officially begun. 💪🏈 Day 1 of football practice is in the books! The energy was high, the effort was unmatched, and the commitment to getting better started today. Every rep, every sprint, and every drill brings us one step closer to Friday nights! It's a great day to be a Wildcat!

JH baseball officially got started this week! These boys have been working so hard, we are so excited to see all of their accomplishments this year! Make sure to come out and catch some games!

JH baseball practice is in elementary gym from 3:30-5:30. Please wear gym shoes!

The softball game for tonight at Annawan has been rescheduled. We will play a double-header on Wednesday 8/19 in Galva. Your coach will be in contact about practice!

JH girls softball is officially kicking off their season today! The girls will be traveling to take on the Annawan Wethersfield Titans! Game time is 4:30 at Howe's park in Annawan. Come out and cheer on the Wildcats to victory!

Girls JH and HS basketball open gym this Sunday 8/9!! JH will be from 12:30 to 1:30 in the high school gym. HS will follow and go from 1:30 - 3:00! Come out and have some fun!

🚨Save the Date for Backpack Night 2026!

Reminder...team camp is tomorrow and Thursday!!' First official team practice is next Monday, August 10, 3-5:30. Parent meeting to conclude the first practice.

JH baseball will have their first practice tomorrow, Monday 8/3! Practice will be from 3:30 - 5:00 at the Galva Park District. There will be a parent meeting after practice! Remember: you must have your concussion testing done AND your physical turned in before you can practice! If you have your physical, please bring it to the admin office tomorrow before practice! We look forward to a great season! Practice will be open to all JH students (6th, 7th, and 8th grade students).

🚨🏃🏃‍♀️🚨 Attention 5th-12th grade runners the cross country season is starting soon! There will be an informational athlete/parent/guardian meeting Monday August 3rd at 6 pm. We will meet under the high school canopy. Practice for jr. high will start the next day and high school practice will start August 10th. Reminder that athletes must have the concussion testing and physical forms turned in before they can practice! If you have any questions please reach out to coach McMeekan (ghsxc@galva224.org).
