Ms Brynn and the Second Graders finished out their unit about the Olympics with another competition. They had a great time skiing around the gym. Team Germany took home the Gold and Bronze while Team France took the Silver! Our medals count chart was definitely a highlight. We will be sad to take it down.
Next Monday starts Read Across America week. Kindergarten received a very special visitor today! It appears this Grinch has a heart and wanted to share it with students. March 2 marks Dr. Seuss' birthday and one of his most recognizable characters created a memorable experience for our students!
There have been scam emails that appear to be sent out by school administrators in the area. If you received an email that appears to be from Mr. Becker and has a "proposal" then please delete it and do not click on the link. If you have clicked on the link, best practice is to change your email password as soon as possible. This email was sent to students today, which is why we took the proactive step of resetting all student passwords.
Galva Events today, Thursday, 2/26/2026- Varsity Scholastic Bowl will attend a meet in Annawan with a 4:00 PM start time.
The Wildcats defeated Elmwood, 69-40 in the IHSA Regional Semifinal on Wednesday!!! The boys take on Illini Bluffs at home on Friday. That game will tip at 7:00pm!!! Let's Go Wildcats!

Galva Athletics Wednesday, February 25, 2026: We host the IHSA Boys Basketball Semifinals with a 6:00 PM start time. Doors open at 5:00 PM. The cost to get in is $8.00 (Set by the IHSA). No passes accepted. A baby in arms is free. Games tonight are A-Town vs Illini Bluffs @ 6:00 PM and Galva vs Elmwood @ 7:30 PM. Go Cats!

The High School LTC Honor Band is getting ready for tonight's performance at Stark County! Eight Galva band members were selected to participate and have been rehearsing throughout the day. The concert is free to attend and starts at 6:30pm.
