Welcome to the Dale Collis Invitational. The Wildcats performed amazingly well tonight and got top 3 performances from Maddie Bates in the 100m, Long Jump, 4x100m relay, and Triple Jump; also from Reid Harris in the High Jump, 300 Hurdles, and the Long Jump.

Tonight, Galva is hosting the Dale Collis Track and Field Invitational. Coach Collis is an honored guest tonight at the track meet. Coach Collis's roles in the Galva School District include a science teacher, basketball coach, football coach, and track and field coach- 26 years for the junior high and 15 for the high school. His high school teams' accomplishments include 8 Lincoln Trail Conference Titles, a 1994 Sectional Championship, 25 major meet championships, and a State Champion, Ryan Preston, for his win in the 1993 State Meet in the 110 Meter High Hurdles. In addition, Coach Collis was inducted into the Galva Athletic Wall of Fame in 2004. He continues to support Galva Athletics by attending games and events throughout the year, and today he will continue that journey as he joins us for the Dale Collis Track and Field Invitational. Join us at the Galva Jr & Sr High School Track and Field Invitational as we honor this man this evening with a 4 PM start time.
Congratulations to Brigham Carrasca on his 5:48 PR in the 7th grade mile. Great time, Brigham!
