Galva Athletics for Thursday, March 5, 2026: Varsity Track will travel to the Sterling Westwood Sports Complex for the Bureau Valley Indoor Meet. Start Time is 4:00 PM. GO CATS!
Jr. High track season is fast approaching! Our first practice will be March 16th from 3:15-4:30 pm. A parent meeting will follow the first practice. Athletes should wear athletic clothing and bring water for practice. Classroom teachers will offer students a chance to sign up this week. We're looking forward to another great season!

We are proud to announce that Amber and Kaylyn were selected as recipients of the 2025–2026 National FFA SAE Grant!
The National FFA Organization awards competitive grants to FFA members to help grow, and enhance their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). These grants will allow Amber and Kaylyn to do hands-on projects in both their school and community to develop real-world skills in agriculture education .
To earn this grant, they:
Aligned their projects with AFNR career pathways and completed a detailed grant application.
We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and initiative these young leaders continue to show.

FFA members from Sections 1–5 will be competing tonight for the top spot in their SAE category and the opportunity to advance to State Awards Day on March 21st.

The GOAT OF THE DAY yesterday went to "7 meter Sam!" She cam into practice hoping to hit 7m at some point this year and it didn't take long! Congrats on hitting 7.15 meters!

The Galva High School Varsity Scholastic Bowl team had their conference tournament today at Black Hawk College. 🧠🧐 The day didn't go as well as we had hoped, ending play with a 2-3 record for the day, but our very own Brielle Jeffrey was one of the top 10 scorers of the day! 🏅Congratulations! Our next match will be regionals, which we are hosting on March 9! #galvaproud
