🚨🏃♀️🏃🚨 ATTENTION any athletes that will be in 5th-12th grade next year and that are interested in cross country! Coach McMeekan will be offering informal summer running throughout the summer! Our season will officially begin in august! We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 AM by the high school office doors, starting June 3rd. This will be dependent on Coach McMeekan's schedule and will be a little inconsistent in June. I can't say enough about this kid! He came in as a freshman just wanting to throw 11 meters in Shot Put and 25 meters in the Discus. Today at the sectional meet he PR'd by 5 METERS in the Discus(33.47m), and threw a new PR (14.08m) in the Shot Put. He missed state by .3 meters.
2025 Track and Field Awards Luncheon was held today. But we still have some business to finish! IHSA Sectional meet is today at Wethersfield Memorial Stadium at 3:00. Stop by and Cheer us on! Go Wildcats! #galvanized

Today in Mrs. Price's class, 7th grade completed the Not a Box Challenge after listening to the book "Not a Box." They were given a piece of cardboard and simple supplies to create anything except a traditional box.
