The HS boys golf regional today has been postponed! Tentatively, it has been rescheduled for Thursday. Please keep checking for updates, depending on the weather, it may get moved again.

🩷 PINK OUT • OCTOBER 5TH • BE THERE! 🩷

Mr. Freeman worked with his social studies classes to better understand the legislative process. A good looking bill was proposed by a member of the House of Representatives to have a movie Friday complete with snacks. Students voted in both the Senate and House and determined the number of legislators it would require to pass in each house. The bill passed in Mr. Freeman's class but died in Mrs. Dooley's. Unfortunately, President Freeman vetoed the bill passed in his class. Students debated the merits of the bill along with the drawbacks and concerns. Important legislative updates soon to come! 🇺🇸🏛️

Addie was recognized for practicing The Wildcat Way across multiple categories. Addie helps her class & teacher stay focused and organized while also inviting others in to help her in posting a classroom joke of the day. Addie practices these on the daily and we're quite proud!

Jaymere was recognized for his perseverance and commitment to doing his best in his academics. He has proudly been demonstrating the Wildcat Way!

Galva FFA members had a great first day volunteering at Bishop Hill’s Jordbruksdagarna Ag Days!

Members from both the Galva Junior High and High School FFA volunteered throughout the afternoon, working shifts from Noon–4:00 p.m. Members helped visitors take part in hands-on agricultural demonstrations including shelling corn, making corn husk dolls, and making clay bricks.

Ag Days gives our members a chance to work with the community, share agriculture with visitors of all ages, and give a glimpse of agricultures past.

We’ll be back tomorrow! Noon–4:00 p.m. Stop by the FFA demonstrations behind the Carpenter Building and see us!
