To extend our economics lesson from JA, 5th-graders have been creating a food truck business plan. Today, they are selling items they made for their food truck! Once they complete the sale, we will discuss how pricing, customer service, and marketing affected their profit. The food truck with the most sales will win a prize!

Fourth grade students had a busy afternoon with guest speakers on Tuesday. They had the University of Illinois Extension Office come talk about Earth Day, make an Earth Day bracelet, and share jokes. They also had another session of Junior Achievement in which they looked at available resources in different areas and create a business plan. Thanks to all the special guests!
