Wildcat Nation, due to the immense heat I wanted to send out a few reminders. All sporting events for 8/22, 8/23, and 8/24 are cancelled EXCEPT for Volleyball on Wednesday. LTC events are being rescheduled. Remember to hydrate and keep cooled off as much as you can.

Welcome Back to School Wildcats!
I’m excited to share our roadmap for our Elementary Music program and have some vital SAVE THE DATE information!
This year in music will be exotic as we look at music around the world. We will also be delving into some STEAM experiments and explorations to uncover the Science of Sound. In the fall we will be using our NEW bells (Thank You Kiwanis!!) and in the new year, we will explore music via instruments and tech.

5th/6th Choir Begins! Monday, September 11th
Veterans Day Assembly - Fri. Nov. 10 at the Jr/Sr HS Gym at 10:00 AM. 5th/6th Choir will be performing
Fall Concert Tues. Oct. 25th at the Jr/Sr HS Gym at 5:00 PM
Elementary will NOT be performing but come share in the world music!
Our Holiday Concert will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM at Galva Jr/Sr High School. We look forward to seeing you there!

Good Morning Wildcat Nation & Galva Community: I want to clarify that the District has not changed the name of the Annual Dale Collis Relays Track and Field Meet and has no intentions to do so, as previously reported. The Board of Education, by consent as presented to them, approved a name change for the previous student activity account (Dale Collis Relays) to " HS Track Invitationals" for use by the high school athletic department. A second activity account was renamed by consent to appropriately reflect the current school/parent organization's name as well. Thank you for your concern and understanding, and I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.

The Galva Elementary Office will be open starting at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 17 and will close at 3:00 PM. We will resume our daily office schedule on Friday, August 18 and will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
