Galva Elementary was thrilled to welcome violinist, Ryan Young, today! He shared his musical talents and showed us a little bit about Scottish culture through the sound of the violin. We even heard some "Baby Shark"--violin-style! Thanks for a superb show, Ryan!

The wildcats Jr. High cross country team had a strong season opener this morning. It was much hotter and more humid than we were anticipating. Layla Anderson was just under her best time last season at 18:38. Randal Engels was right around his best time last season with a time of 14:20. Kiiryn Shull had a strong opening race with a time of 17:36. I can't wait to see what this season has in store! 🏃🏻🏃🏼🏃🏾♂️🏃🏼♂️🥵🔥💨👟 🐾 #galvaproud
Wildcat Nation: This week's weather was simply unpleasant. I have to commend our students on their ability to overcome that adversity. They far exceeded any expectation for learning in a building that bakes even with A/C in classrooms. I am so proud of the staff and students for working together to overcome those difficulties in order to engage in meaningful learning. I hope everyone takes the weekend to enjoy some better weather and rest their brains after a challenging week.
