The Varsity Girls Basketball team earns a win tonight in Woodhull!
49-41, over Bushnell-Prairie City.

There was a three-way tie for grand champion of the Locotubre 2024 music competition in Mrs. Raley's Spanish classes! Shelby Charlet, Tommy Funke, and Mason Williams each received a commemorative t-shirt to reward their expert predictions.



Galva Interact members hosted a bake sale and used the proceeds to purchase hygiene products for Humility Homes and Services, an organization that provides housing and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Quad Cities area. Interact officers shopped for high need items which were delivered to the facility this week. The generosity of our students and staff is deeply appreciated!

On Saturday at 10:00am our Marching Band will perform in the Festival of Trees Parade in Davenport. Bundle up and head to the QC or catch it live on KWQC Channel 6.

Mrs. McMeekan's Chemistry students have been studying the periodic table. Today, they did a lab testing three different compounds' ability to dissolve in methanol. Tomorrow, they will take final measurements and draw conclusions on the trends.

It's Championship Wednesday! The 7th Grade Girls Basketball team heads to Visitation School in Kewanee tonight. They take on Cambridge for a 1A Regional Title. Tip is scheduled for 6:00pm.
