With the forecasted cold temperatures and the potential for significant snowfall in parts of the state, the IESA Boys Basketball Regional at Visitation has changed its schedule.
Games will be played on 1/27, 1/28, 1/29

We're happy to see our absentee list a bit shorter today. It is certainly a tough time of year for illness. Please reference our Health Graphic in this post if you have questions about procedures for illness here at school.

K-Kids will be collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in support of the Olson family. The RMD House allows families to stay there free of charge so that they can be together in their time of healing. There is a collection tub in front of the elementary office. Thank you for your continued support!

The second grade was working on making kindness notes to give to people in the school after they worked on their Second Step lesson on Empathy.

Save the date! Spread the word! Galva Drama Club will present The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical on March 20th & 21st, 2026. Performances are at Galva Jr/Sr High at 7:30 pm and tickets are $10 at the door.

Our students actors have been working hard learning the music, lines, and movements, while our crew has been working hard on some awesome props, technology, and stage elements :)

ATTN Elementary Families: Thursday's 1-20-26) lunch will now be Pizza Crunchers instead of Cheeseburger Mac.

Last night the JH volleyball team competed at Princeville. Your 8th grade team had a great 2 set victory!

The girls are back in action tonight at home. Games start at 5:30.

Athletics for Tuesday Jan 20, 2026:
JH Volleyball travels to Princeville for a 5:30 PM start time.
Boys HS Basketball will host Bureau Valley at the Jr/Sr High School with JV starting at 6:00 PM and Varsity to follow.

JH volleyball went on the road to battle Mercer County tonight. Despite great effort and hustle, both teams had tough 3 set losses. Lady cats play again in Princeville tomorrow night with the first game starting at 5:30.
