The high school cross country boys were back in action this afternoon in rockridge! Bryant Jeffrey finished 3rd overall with a time of 20:31! Randal Engels set a new personal best with a time of 22:51!

The High School Cross Country Team had a great start to their season out at Midland. Bryant ran one of his best times at 20:03. Freshman Randal Engels beat his best 5K time coming in at 23:00. Looking forward to see what these athletes do on Thursday in Rockridge!

This week starts our new "Essential 25" Vocabulary Instruction. Galva Elementary will focus on one new vocabulary word each week. The list reflects research that shows these words are critical to a student's academic vocabulary. Whether it is a question on an assessment, an essay prompt in class, or communicating with peers and teachers, academic vocabulary allows students to truly understand the questions that are being asked of them.
