In the HS Gym, and the Cafeteria, join the Elementary PSO for the Elementary School Carnival!

It's Elementary Carnival Day! On behalf of the Elementary PSO, we hope to see many of you tonight at the Galva Jr/Sr HS Gymnasium. The carnival will run from 5:30-7:30 PM. Have a great day!

This is a reminder that the Elementary Carnival Pre-Sale will continue through 3:00 PM on Wednesday 4-17-24 and will then end. The dessert donations can be dropped off at the High School on Wednesday at any time.
The Carnival will run from 5:30-7:30 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the Galva Jr/Sr HS Gymnasium.
We hope to see you there!

Last Friday two of our 6th Grade students were recognized at the Illinois Principals Association Leadership Breakfast at Vibrant Arena in Moline. Elizabeth Sellers and Greta Wigant were nominated by their teachers for this award for their leadership efforts in the classroom and throughout school. Congratulations to them both!


Attention K-Kids Families:
Due to the forecasted severe weather on Tuesday afternoon, the K-Kids meeting scheduled on 4-16-24 after school has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Congratulations to Iris Mosley for being named the winner of the Young Leaders “Farm Gate to Dinner Plate” 4th grade T-shirt Contest! The Henry County Farm Bureau and Gold Star FS helped to award t-shirts to Iris and her class. #GalvaProud



The second-grade class enjoyed Kristine Anderson of the State Bank of Toulon joining our class today for our Junior Achievement. We are learning about jobs in our community.




Second grade enjoyed Mrs Janson coming in with Ag in the Classroom to teach us about Recycling. We enjoyed a story, a game, and making a recycling bracelet.





Thank you Mr. Norway for making sure that everyone had glasses to view the solar eclipse! Second grade loved this opportunity.
