Braden, Ryanne, Ciara, and Allison were invited to spend the day at the Rotary District Conference. They presented a breakout session about our projects and activities, met lots of new friends, and were even able to help with a service project for Midwest Missions making PDKs (Personal Dignity Kits). A million thanks to Rotary Club of Galva for their support in making today possible!

The high school cross country team competed at the LTC meet at midland on Thuraday! The girls saved some energy for a sprint at the end and finished in 28:56. The boys had a great race and both set new personal recorseconds cutting around 10 seconds off of their previous best times. Both of their previous personal records were on the flat Detweiller course. Bryant Jeffrey finished in 19:19 and Randal Engels finished in 21:47 on the hillier midland course!

Our 5th grade classes took part in a pumpkin decorating contest. Each adult and student in our school got to place a button in the cup of the pumpkin they thought was the winner. The winning pumpkin creators received bonus house points for their class! Congrats! #GalvaProud

On Thursday 10/10, at 5:30 p.m., Madeline Reihner, Financial Aid Advisor will be at Galva Jr/Sr High School to show senior parents and students how to apply for their FSA ID. This step must be completed before completing the FAFSA! FAFSA opens on December 1st, so please take this opportunity to prepare for your next steps.
