We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Brandon Owens, our Industrial Arts and Drivers Education instructor, has been selected as the winner of the WQAD News "My Favorite Teacher Contest". This award was given to him after a senior student, Katie Clemons, wrote a letter nominating him. The segment featuring Mr. Owens will be aired on WQAD News in April. We will provide more information about the airing of the segment as we receive it.
Congratulations to Mr. Owens on this well-deserved recognition!

District Strategic Plan Survey
REMINDER Jr. High track practice starts Wednesday 3/13! Athletes should have athletic clothing, water, tennis shoes and expect to run. Practice ends at 4:30 and athletes should have a ride home at that time, if they don't live withing walking distance of the school. There will be a parent/guardian meeting following practice on Wednesday.

District Strategic Plan Survey
Today, March 11th is the start of the 4th Quarter Classes for our 8th Grade elective class rotation. All 8th graders will be in a new course (Ag, Shop, Art, or STEM) for the final 9 weeks.

On Monday, March 11th our Juniors will take the Accuplacer Test at Black Hawk East. The students will have lunch and then tour Black Hawk College facilities after testing.
