The meeting on Wednesday is only for students who have NOT YET REGISTERED. If you are already registered for the 2025 trip, you do NOT need to attend this meeting
On Wednesday 9-18-24 at 6:00 PM in the Galva HS Library, there will be an informational meeting for students and families still interested in our annual trip to Washington D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach. There is still space available and welcome you to consider this amazing opportunity!

Mrs. Norway spent the day learning about Lego Prime with like minded STEM educators! We are looking forward to making some projects with students!





Mrs. Maertens and Mrs. Olson had our 6th graders reviewing each other's "About Me" projects in order to better understand non-fiction text features






Mrs. Moores 3rd graders are finishing the week working on spelling with a focus on short vowels


Congratulations to Lily Wigant on winning the State Soils and Water Conservation District Poster Contest! Her poster will be going on to the National Competition!


Good luck to JH Cross Country as they compete in Princeville at 4:30!

JH Baseball Bracket 2024- We will play Peoria St. Vincent de Paul. 9/23/24. Location and time is TBA at the moment.

Game Highlights from Coach Jackson, JH Softball:

All 9 starters with at least 1 hit on the night. Baylie Case, Danny Wigant, Lexi Traff with 3 hits each. Aubrey Dowell-Keup, Emma Nance with 2 hits each. Galva had 17 hits on the night.
Baylie Case was the winning pitcher, going all 7 innings giving up11 runs (6 earned) on 10 hits. Baylie had 5 strikeouts and no walks.
Galva improves to 8 and 6 and moves on to regional semi-final on Saturday against Ridgewood at Brimfield.

JH Football players and parents: The coaches will be handing out equipment this Saturday morning at 9:00 AM at the elementary school locker room. We are looking forward to another season!

JH Boys there is a basketball open gym this Sunday at 8 AM at the elementary gym.
