From Coach McMeekan:
Results from state:
Randal had a great race at state! With a muddy, cold, crowded course he raced smart. He looked good the whole race, gave it all in the race and finished with nothing left. He got a PR finishing with a time of 13:13 and 128th out of 199 runners. All of us can't believe how much Randal has improved from where he was 2 years ago! We can't wait to see what he does in high school!

Randal's state results are in! 🏃🏼♂️🏃🏼♂️With a time of 13:13.10 he placed 128 out of 221 runners!🎉 #galvaproud #itsagreatdaytobeawildcat

Congratulations to Randal as he heads out to represent Galva Junior High at the IESA State Cross Country Meet! This is a video from the send off that we did yesterday for Randal! #Galvaproud #itsagreatdaytobeawildcat

Students learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin from Paula Jansen of the Henry County Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Program. Thank you for visiting us here at Galva Elementary and sharing your knowledge!

We may have an internet outage which will also affect the phones, due to some maintenance.

We are working on our internet. It may be out for a brief period of time, along with the phones. We are hoping for a smooth fix, but wanted to make families aware. If you call and it goes to voicemail, we will return your call!
Thank you,
Mrs. Norway
