Galva CUSD #224 uses Rooms for all classroom/team announcements and parent-teacher/coach messaging, built directly inside our official Galva CUSD mobile app.
Rooms is our only district-approved communication tool. By housing communication inside our official app, families can rest assured that all interactions meet educational safety guidelines and that information comes directly from verified school staff!
The district will be re-sending invitations to parents/guardians who have not signed up for Rooms yet. Please follow the instructions in the email/text that will be sent to you.
Benefits for Parents:
Simplifies Communication: All communications from teachers, the school nurse, and coaches should come directly from the school app! You can find schedules, lunch menus, and other important information all in one place! This eliminates having to check multiple apps for school information.
Streamline communication for multiple students: Rooms is for students in grades pre-k-12. Each of your students and all of their activities are in one place so that you can easily view all class and team announcements in one place.
Flexible Notification Options: Families can receive updates via app push notifications or direct SMS text messages, based on personal preference to make sure that you don't miss a thing!
Students in grades 3 and above can also sign into Rooms using their email address. The district recommends that all students in grades 6-12 sign in either via the district app, or the website to ensure that they are also receiving up to date information!
