Fun for All Ages: Elementary School Carnival a Huge Success!cafeteria cake walktattoosplinkopop a shotserversgymguessing gameclownssoda pop ring toss

The school grounds were buzzing with excitement this past week as the Elementary Parent/Staff Group hosted its bi-annual school carnival. It was a fantastic evening that brought together families, staff, and the community for a night of laughter and play.

Highlights of the Night

The event featured a wide array of attractions that kept kids (and parents!) entertained from start to finish:

  • High-Energy Fun: The bounce houses were a major hit, seeing a constant stream of energetic jumpers throughout the night.

  • Games & Prizes: Students tested their skills at various game booths, earning prizes!

  • Sweet Treats: No carnival is complete without cotton candy, which provided a sugary boost for the evening’s festivities, thanks to Galva FFA!

  • Creative Flair: The tattoo station was packed with students looking to sport some Galva Wildcat temporary ink!

  • Balloon Artist: The local balloon artist was a fun addition this year! Kids were able to add googly eyes to their animals as well.

Community Connections

We were also thrilled to welcome our local Youth Service Bureau, which set up an interactive table to engage with the children and share information about their community programs.

A special thank you goes out to the high school student volunteers and Kiwanis volunteers who joined us. Their energy and leadership in running the games ensured everything ran smoothly and gave our younger students some great role models to look up to.

It was wonderful to see the community come together. Events like these remind us how lucky we are to have such a dedicated Parent/Staff Group and supportive local partners.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to making this carnival an unforgettable evening!!
