On April 10, Mrs. Norway escorted three Galva High School students to participate in Bradley University’s Cyber 100 event. Cyber 100 is a one-day cybersecurity program designed to give students hands-on experience, expert insight, and the opportunity to compete in real-world cybersecurity challenges.
This year’s junior participants—Brayden Robinson, Bryant Jeffrey and Jayden Kamphaus—represented Galva with impressive skill and determination. The team earned 3rd place overall in the cybersecurity competition, with each student receiving a Raspberry Pi as a prize.
In addition to the team’s success, Jayden achieved an individual accomplishment by taking 1st place in the Zero Trust competition. This challenge required participants to operate under the principle that all users and systems could be potential threats, emphasizing advanced cybersecurity strategies.
All three students were also awarded $20,000 scholarships to Bradley University, should they choose to attend in the future.
Congratulations to these students on their outstanding achievements!
