Students were excited to be honored at an assembly this week for being the top reader in their class for the 2nd quarter. Accelerated Reader (AR) encourages students to develop strong reading skills by awarding points for successfully completing comprehension quizzes on books they've read. Each quarter we celebrate our students' hard work by awarding a prize for the top AR points earner in each class.
Students earning top reader this quarter include:
Ophelia Norway, Ellie Kendall, Zeke Lilly, Gatlin Peterson, Luke Bollinger, Justin Bicknell, Knox Glaser, Mason Clark, Aydyn Miller, Addison Hoenig, Chloe Anderson, and Harper Ingels.
Teachers and staff proudly recognized these dedicated readers, applauding their hard work, determination, and love of books. Each top-earning student received a special prize to celebrate their achievement and to encourage continued reading success throughout the school year.
