Small School Success - Big Opportunities

Our school district is small and rural, with 600 students in Grades Pre-K through 12.  There are two sections in each of the grades Pre-K through Eight  Graduating classes typically have 40-50 students.  Students usually know all of their classmates, and every staff member in our buildings.  Our teachers and administrators know every family.  Those bonds of familiarity are the backbone of a quality school. ONLINE REGISTRATION was quite a success this year!  At the end of registration 43% of our student population was registered online! In addition to website information, Galva C.U.S.D. #224 will continue to utilize Blackboard Connect to send out telephone and e-mail messages to its stakeholders.  Routine communications are sent to a single primary number and/or e-mail address, collected at School Registration. . . .
